About
Community overview
Gateway’s Community Programs bring practical help and lasting hope to vulnerable families throughout the communities we serve. We provide nutritious food for hungry elders, widows, the sick, and families living in poverty; build safe homes for those without adequate shelter; and help communities gain reliable access to clean water.
Our work goes beyond meeting immediate needs. We plant Christ-centered churches that offer hope, fellowship, and spiritual growth, while teaching and supporting local entrepreneurs as they build sustainable businesses and strengthen their communities. By working alongside local leaders and families, we help people move toward greater health, stability, dignity, and self-sufficiency—creating change that can endure for generations.

Community

Water Projects
For many vulnerable communities, safe water is miles away. Families forced to collect contaminated river water face disease, lost opportunities, and deepening poverty. We work alongside communities to develop dependable sources of clean water—improving health and creating a foundation for lasting growth.
Entrepreneurs
We equip aspiring entrepreneurs with training, guidance, and practical support. By helping people build sustainable businesses, we strengthen families and entire communities.
Churches
We plant and support Christ-centered churches that share the hope of the Gospel. These churches become places of worship, fellowship, spiritual growth, and compassionate service within their communities.
Home Building
We build safe, secure homes for families living without adequate shelter. A proper home provides protection, stability, and a foundation for a better future.
Feeding Program
We provide nutritious food to hungry elders, widows, the sick, and families living in poverty. Each meal offers immediate relief while restoring health, dignity, and hope.

Nourish Communities

Gateway Farm ready for seed.mp4
The Nourish Communities Initiative was created to bring hope and practical help to families facing hunger throughout the communities we serve. Many are single parents, widows, older adults, people living with disabilities or serious illness, and families recovering from unemployment, crop failure, displacement, or other hardships. For them, reliable access to nutritious food can be a daily struggle.

Our goal is not simply to distribute food—it is to help restore health, dignity, and hope. On our 10-acre farm, we grow corn, beans, and other vegetables that are harvested, dried, and packaged into nutritious meal kits. We also support local food systems by working with area farmers and purchasing locally grown food whenever possible.

Those who are able may voluntarily work alongside our team, learning practical agricultural skills that can help them grow food for their own families. Participation is always an opportunity, never a requirement. Food assistance is provided freely, respectfully, and according to need—regardless of tribe, background, church membership, or ability to work.
